A Newborn Session Worth the Travel, Worth the Moment

This session felt especially meaningful for Christine and her family. Her parents had travelled in from Western Canada, and it was really important to include them in these photos. Having everyone together made this session feel even more special. We started with full family portraits with all seven of them together, spanning multiple generations. Grandparents, parents, auntie, toddler, and Baby R. all in one frame. The kind of image that holds more than just a moment, but the people surrounding it.

After family photos, the grandparents took the toddler home, which gave us the chance to slow down and focus on Baby R. for the rest of the session. It made everything feel calm, easy, and unhurried.

Everyone came beautifully dressed, staying in whites, creams, and beige tones, which created that soft, crisp look that photographs so well. It kept everything feeling clean, timeless, and natural.
