Welcoming Maeve: An In-Home Newborn Session
The Pilkey family welcomed sweet Maeve to their clan, and we celebrated her arrival with an in-home newborn session.
As a typical third born, Maeve already seems to know how things work. She slept through all the chaos of her two older siblings, completely unfazed by everything happening around her.
There were plenty of sweet family moments throughout the session, capturing Maeve with her siblings and parents in the comfort of their own home.
Mom chose all of the outfits for the session, keeping everything personal and true to their family.
I always love in-home newborn sessions because they capture this little season of life just as it is. The familiar spaces, the sibling cuddles, and all the little moments that make welcoming a new baby so special.
And this won't be the last time I get to photograph Maeve. I'll be seeing the Pilkeys again in 2027 for her first birthday milestone session, and I can't wait to see how much she's grown by then.
