One Session, Three Generations

I photograph the Shearer-Kudel family once a year, but this session felt extra special as they chose to include the grandparents. What started as a thoughtful Christmas gift, a gift certificate for Micah’s parents, turned into a fall family session at The Guelph Arboretum, bringing three generations together in one place. Before the session, they came into the studio for a wardrobe consultation, where we planned outfits together and made sure everything worked seamlessly. Knowing what you’re wearing and planning ahead of time makes a huge difference, and I guide families through that entire process so it feels easy and stress free. For the session, Angelique wore a studio dress, Fox, who is three, wore a studio outfit paired with his own cozy sweater to suit the cool fall weather, and together it all came together beautifully.
