Making Room for Two More: A Maternity Session at Rockwood Conservation

It has been such a joy watching the Davis family grow over the years, and this session at Rockwood Conservation was especially exciting because they’re getting ready to welcome not one, but two new babies to their family.


I first met the Davis family when I photographed Mayah’s newborn session, and I’ve been lucky enough to capture so many of their family milestones since then. I’ve also had the chance to photograph Mayah and Elijah for their preschool photos at Rockwood Nursery School over the last couple of years.


Now, their family is about to grow by two!


For their maternity session, we headed to Rockwood Conservation for some beautiful outdoor family photos. We captured plenty of sweet moments with Mayah and Elijah, along with some special photos of Mom and Dad celebrating this next chapter.


There’s something extra special about maternity sessions when there are already little ones involved. It gives us a chance to capture the excitement of becoming a bigger family and those last few moments before everything changes.


The Davis family is also part of my Luxury Membership, so this won’t be the last time I get to see them. I’ll be back with them soon for their newborn session once these two little babies arrive, and I can’t wait to meet them.
