A Newborn Session Surrounded by Nature

There is something so beautiful about bringing a newborn session outdoors, especially when a family feels most at home surrounded by nature.
The Ostapchuk family loves being outdoors, so instead of a traditional studio newborn session, we headed to The Guelph Arboretum to capture this special season surrounded by nature.
Outdoor newborn sessions aren't something I get to photograph very often, but I absolutely love the change of scenery. There's something about being outside that naturally encourages movement and connection, making the session feel a little less posed and a little more like the family simply enjoying time together.
Big brother Arthur was especially sweet with his new baby sister, Rowan. Watching him interact with her and seeing their connection already starting to grow was such a special part of the session.
Mom and Arthur are wearing pieces from the studio wardrobe, adding a soft and timeless look that worked beautifully with the natural surroundings.
From quiet cuddles among the trees to sweet sibling moments, this outdoor newborn session at The Guelph Arboretum was such a beautiful way to welcome Rowan into the family and capture these early days together.
Sometimes the best newborn photos happen when you simply step outside and let the family be themselves.
