A First Birthday Cake Smash for Charlee
It’s always extra special when I get to photograph people who have been part of my life for so many years.
Amanda and I played hockey together many moons ago, and we’ve been best friends ever since. It has been such an honour to capture so many special moments for her family, from her maternity session to Charlee’s newborn photos, and now her very first birthday.
For Charlee’s milestone session, we had plenty of smiles, a little cake, and of course, Millie came along too.
One of my favourite moments was when Millie decided to join in on the cake smash. Watching the two of them together was just too cute and made the session even more special.
Charlee also wore one of the studio’s teddy bear sweaters from Penny’s Place, which was the perfect little outfit for her birthday photos.
I can’t believe we’ve already made it from maternity photos to a whole year of Charlee. Getting to document these milestones for people I love is something I’ll never take for granted.
