A Day Together at The Guelph Arboretum: An Extended Family Session.

The Bamsey family gathered at The Guelph Arboretum for a long-awaited extended family session this summer.

This session had been planned for months, with Laura and her family travelling all the way from the west coast to spend time with everyone. Even with the wildfire smoke that affected Guelph in the middle of July, the family decided to go ahead with their session.

We captured a little bit of everything, from individual photos of each of the children to photos of each family together with their spouses. We also made sure to capture the grandparents with their grandchildren and the cousins all together.

Some of my favourite moments were the ones that happened in between the bigger family photos. The grandparents playing with their grandchildren, the kids running around together, and everyone simply enjoying being together.

The family also planned a little picnic for the kids, complete with cupcakes. Needless to say, the little ones were VERY excited when the cupcakes came out.


With so many different family connections to capture, this session was filled with meaningful moments and memories they can look back on for years to come.
